At HEAH: Open Routes for All Learners CIC, we’re proud to offer inclusive, flexible, and accredited learning pathways for young people aged 16–25 and adult learners seeking to grow, heal, and thrive on their own terms.
Launching October 2025, our Lifelong Learning Hub is designed to support learners at every stage – whether you’re:
- Transitioning out of our core alternative provision
- Re-engaging with learning later in life
- Or seeking structured opportunities to build your skills and confidence
We are now an Approved Centre for:
- AQA Unit Award Scheme (UAS)
- Trinity College London’s Arts Award
- Leadership Skills Foundation (LSF)
A Natural Next Step for HEAH Learners
For young people aged 16+ moving on from our 8–16 Learning Hub, this new strand is the perfect bridge to adulthood. With small-group learning, real-world project work, and adult-focused content, we provide a coaching-led, trauma-informed space to develop confidence, resilience, and purpose.
It’s also open to new learners aged 16–25+ who are seeking a safe, supportive environment to explore learning on their own terms.
What You Can Achieve
You’ll be able to work towards meaningful accreditation across three nationally recognised pathways:
AQA Unit Award Scheme (UAS)
Build a portfolio of achievements with bite-sized, flexible units in:
- Employment skills & work readiness
- Personal development & communication
- Health, fitness & well-being
- Creative expression & media projects
Each unit earns an official certificate from AQA, with no exams or pressure – just real progress.
Arts Award (Trinity College London)
Perfect for creative minds, these qualifications support you to:
- Develop your own creative skills
- Research and learn from artists or cultural experiences
- Reflect on your own growth
- Share your work with peers and community
We currently offer Explore, Bronze, and Silver levels for learners aged 16+, all supported by trained advisers.
Leadership Skills Foundation
Take the lead in your own journey while building core skills in:
- Teamwork & communication
- Decision-making & confidence
- Project planning & leadership styles
- Community action & personal responsibility
LSF accreditation is ideal for those interested in youth work, mentoring, advocacy or peer leadership, and aligns naturally with volunteer and work experience pathways at HEAH.
