Welcome to HEAH’s Arts Award Programme - a flexible, creative pathway designed especially for home-educated children and young people to explore, develop, and celebrate their artistic talents. Led by a qualified and trained Arts Award adviser, the programme supports learners to gain nationally recognised Arts Awards, building confidence, skills, and personal growth at every step.
Why Choose HEAH Arts Awards?
- Expert guidance from a trained Arts Award adviser: Benefit from professional support and moderation advice to ensure your child’s achievements are recognised.
- Creative and flexible: Tailored for home education, our packs and sessions allow learners to progress at their own pace, exploring a wide range of art forms - from visual arts and music to digital media and performance.
- Accredited and recognised: Arts Awards are nationally recognised qualifications that celebrate creativity, dedication, and leadership. They provide valuable evidence of learning and achievement for future education or career opportunities.
- Supportive and inclusive: Our programme is trauma-informed and coaching-led, welcoming learners with diverse needs and abilities, including neurodivergence and additional support requirements.
- Practical, hands-on learning: Monthly resource packs guide learners through engaging projects, artist research, skills development, event attendance or participation, and opportunities to share their creativity with others.
- Progressive skill-building: From first creative explorations through to advanced leadership projects, learners develop a portfolio of work and gain experience teaching, organising, and leading arts activities.
